What is "Ahulia" ?
Ahulia is an imaginary universe I created back in december 2021 after realising I could create any universe I wanted. I created the Kingdom of Ahulia to be ablt to create/write/imagine stories in an unlimited way taking place in this universe. For now, I wrote 1 (one) book taking place in Ahulia (+ I am currently writing another book taking place in this universe). I plan (have ideas) for a total of 5 (five) books, but this number may evolve with time. My main inspirations for this universe are first The Chronicles of Narnia, then Pirates of the Caribbean.
Why The Chronicles of Narnia ? At first I wanted this universe to be accessible from the real world, that is why Narnia was my main source of inspiration to create this universe, but then I decided the universe not to be accessible from the real world since I didn't want any human to "discover" the place, it seemed too 'colonial' for me.
Why Pirates of the Caribbean ? I wanted to make the stories of this universe pirate centered but the more I wrote and thought about how the stories could turn out, the more I got 'separated' from the idea of making most of the stories pirate centered. So I just decided to start writing simple adventure taking place on land and on sea (?).
